Why we use biofloc

Every shrimp pond needs balance: dissolved oxygen, pH, ammonia. Traditionally we change water to maintain that balance. Biofloc takes a different route — it drives a microbial community to convert ammonia into bacterial protein that the shrimp eat. Closed loop, less water out.

What changes in operations

We track DO, pH, salinity, and temperature every five minutes via an IoT gateway in each pond. When a parameter drifts, an alert lands in the ops team WhatsApp within 90 seconds. No more guess-based decisions.

For buyers, the visible result is more consistent grading. The spec sheet on each batch shows the count distribution: target is the 30/40 range, and average deviation is < 8% across shipments.
